Sheba has an interesting coat. It's black, but the roots are white. It's been that way since she was a kitten, and makes it difficult to get a picture of her where she doesn't look blotchy or marbled. Sitting in her favorite window in the staircase, there was enough shadow and light to make her not look like a big black blob.
